AWARDS, PRIZES, and GIFTS
All Sea Lion Bowl competition students, coaches, and volunteers will receive a 2016 Sea Lion Bowl t-shirt, a Sea Lion Bowl drawstring bag, a Starbucks re-useable cup, a Rite in the Rain all-weather paper notepad and a Seafood Watch Guide.
1st Place Varsity Teams receive an all-expense paid trip to Morehead City, NC to compete in the National NOSB Finals, April 21 to 24, 2016; a Sea Lion Bowl engraved team trophy; personal Sea Lion Bowl medallion; and a team marine science activity prize. All other winning teams including 2nd and 3rd Place Varsity, 1st and 2nd place Junior Varsity, and recipients of the Sportsmanship and Team Spirit Awards, will each receive a Sea Lion Bowl engraved team trophy, personal Sea Lion Bowl medallion, and a team marine activity prize.
The 2016 team activity prizes include:
– Tickets to the Monterey Bay Aquarium

Non-winning teams may participate in a guided tour of the Marine Mammal Center.
Coach Awards: 1st Place Varsity: All-expense-paid trip to Morehead City, NC for National NOSB Finals, April 21 to 24, 2016, a $50 gift certificate to Leave Only Bubbles, and 1-year membership to the National Marine Educators Association. All Varsity and Junior Varsity winning coaches will each receive a 1 year subscriptions to Bay Nature Magazine and a 1-year membership to the Marine Science Institute plus the team awards. The coaches of the Team Spirit and Sportsmanship Awards receive a 1-year membership to the Marine Sciences Institute plus the team awards. All coaches receive a California Fish ID Book, a special Bay Nature Magazine edition, and an insulated bag from Stanford School of Earth, Energy & Environmental Sciences.
